1. Who we are

GoodAvatar.dev ("GoodAvatar", "we", "us") operates an online service that generates avatar videos from a portrait image and an audio track. For privacy questions or data requests, contact support@goodavatar.dev.

2. Data we collect

• •Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you sign up by email or Google.
• •Content you upload: portrait images, audio files, scripts you submit for text-to-speech, and music descriptions.
• •Generated content: the videos produced by the service and their task records (status, duration, credits consumed).
• •Payment data: purchases are processed by Creem (our merchant of record). We never receive or store your full card details; we keep a reference to the order and credits granted.
• •Technical data: IP address and request metadata used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

3. How we use your data

• •To operate the service: submit your image and audio to our generation provider, deliver the finished video, and show task progress.
• •To manage credits: record consumption, refunds, and purchases.
• •To communicate with you: transactional emails about task completion, task failure and refunds, and purchases.
• •To keep the service safe: rate limiting and prevention of abusive or unlawful use.

4. Third-party processors

We share your content only with the providers required to run the service:

• •RunningHub — processes your portrait image and audio to generate the avatar video.
• •302.ai (MiniMax) — processes scripts you submit to generate text-to-speech audio, and music descriptions for song generation.
• •Cloudflare — stores uploaded assets and generated videos (Cloudflare R2).
• •Neon — hosts our application database (account, task, and credit records).
• •Resend — delivers transactional emails on our behalf.
• •Creem — acts as merchant of record for payments and refunds.

5. Storage and retention

Uploaded assets and generated videos are stored on Cloudflare R2 and are kept until you delete the related task or your account. Task and credit records are kept for accounting and dispute resolution. If you delete your account, associated personal data and content files are deleted, except records we must retain for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, or request a copy of it, by emailing support@goodavatar.dev from your account address. You can delete individual tasks (and their files) from the service at any time. We do not sell your personal data.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in). We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and, when appropriate, notify you by email before the change takes effect.
